Mastercam Announces Acquisition of Postability
I’m excited to announce that Mastercam, in conjunction with Sandvik, is acquiring Postability. This is a natural next step for our organization to allow Postability to expand globally, allowing our post processing technology to become more accessible to the millions of Mastercam users around the world.
Since Postability’s inception 15 years ago, Dave Thomson made it his mission to build a post-processing community ensuring best-in-class technology coupled with best-in-class customer service and support. This acquisition will continue to honour Dave’s legacy and his passion. There are no plans to change relationships with any external vendors, customers, or support solutions because of this acquisition. We will continue to offer our premier technology and support to our customers.
Chris McIntosh is being appointed Managing Director of Postability where he will act as the liaison between Postability and Mastercam; he will also ensure continuity of services and operations for our customers throughout the transition and beyond. Please join me in congratulating Chris on this new role.
Postability adds talent, technology, and diversity to Mastercam’s ecosystem of solutions. With the addition of Postability, Mastercam users will have the opportunity to acquire a broader range of post processing technology with excellent support and responsiveness.
